Menus can be added to a form using the Menu Editor Selecting a menu item at design- time takes you to the code editor for the specific menu item.
Shortcut is CTRL + E The name is the identifier for the control. The three-letter mnemonic for a menu item is mnu All controls must be named uniquely. Menu editor do not have an default captions
User sees the text in ctb. Alt + P is the access key for the CTB in the Menu Editor Window
It is a Control Name Names must be different, if not the case of control array This name will be the event procedure . Names must be given to all the menu item. Alt + M is the access key.
In case of a control array, index can be set in index button. Control Array add new instances of a control at run time. Control Array lets to enlarge or shrink the menu at run time. New item can be added in menu with load method. Items can be removed in menu with unload method.

It is used to add accelerator keys. It means, either Function Keys or CTRL Keys with key combinations. Shortcuts are present in a drop down list box with choices. [Alt + f4 is not available as shortcut key since it is for exit the program]

A check box will be displayed in the front of the item. Controls the checked property of the menu item. The default is off.

Multiple Document Interface One window is a MDI Container / MDI Parent All others are MDI Child

Choose new MDI from file/ project explorer Create additional normal forms. Set MDI Child property to true

At design time both child and parent forms look alike At run time all the child forms must be explicitly shown. All the child forms will be displayed within the parent form boundary.
