This screen is used to control the competing requirements of De-humidification Control

and Cooling Control. Depending on the settings of the Temperature Setpoint, Humidity
Setpoint and the Outdoor %RH level, it can be necessary to cool the air to a temperature
lower than the actual Temperature Setpoint to achieve the required Humidity Setpoint. In
such cases, the Offset From Setpoint parameter is used to regulate the amount of over-
cooling that is allowed to occur. Once the Return Air Temperature reaches (Temperature
Setpoint – Offset From Setpoint) oC, De-Hum is disabled.

DELTA TEMPERATURE TO ENABLE FREECOOLING Pa

This screen controls the operation of Freecooling.

The Delta Temp. is a temperature differential between the measured Return Air
Temperature and the measured Outdoor Air Temperature. When the measured differential
is greater than the Delta Temp, Freecooling is enabled, when the measured differential is
less, Freecooling is disabled.
For example, with a Setpoint of 22oC, and a Delta Temp. of 3oC, Freecooling is available
at Outdoor Temperatures below 19oC - it is not available at Outdoor Temperatures above
19oC.
The Priority Time Over Compressor parameter sets a time limit on Freecooling
Operation. If the unit runs in FreeCooling Mode for longer than the Priority Time Over
Compressor and Setpoint has not yet been achieved – DX Cooling will begin.

Delta Temp – Enter a value between 0 and 99.9 oC 3

Priority Time Over Compressor - Enter a value between 0 and 99 Minutes 10

TEMPERATURE REGULATION TYPE SCREEN C1

This screen determines the type of control algorithm to be used for temperature
control. The options are Proportional or Proportional Integral. Proportional P+I
control defines a linear relationship between change in temperature and change in
Heating/Cooling outputs. Proportional Integral control utilizes an additional
parameter, the Integral Time to enhance control accuracy.

Integral Time – Enter a value between 0 and 9999 seconds. 600s

CONDENSER FAN CONTROL SCREEN C2

This screen determines the type of control algorithm to be used for condenser fan
control. The options are Proportional or Proportional Integral. Proportional
control defines a linear relationship between change in refrigerant pressure and P
change in condenser fan speed. Proportional Integral control utilizes an additional
parameter, the Integral Time to enhance control accuracy.

An additional parameter Comp. Fan Intrlk determines the relationship between

compressor and condenser fan operation. When set to YES, the condenser fan will
only operate, if the compressor is already in operation. When set to NO, the
condenser fan will respond to refrigerant pressure level, regardless of whether the
compressor is on or off.
