4.a) Discuss role of programmable logic controller in mechatronic

system. Is microprocessor controller superior to PLC?
b) Discuss operation, limitations and applications of PID controller.

5.a) Discuss procedures involved in creation and edition of data in data

base systems.

b) What is object oriented concept? Explain functioning of object

oriented model language interface.

6.a) Discuss principle, specific applications and limitations of digital

transducers.
b) Discuss machine-machine interfacing devices and their role in
