JB YOUTH FEST 2011

INTRODUCTION JB Youth Fest 2011 was held for the first time to give recognition and appreciation of the contribution of youth to the development of the state of Johor. The festival will also bring youth ranks that will inherit the leadership of the state of Johor and close the gap between government and youth.

This festival is a manifestation of the spirit of youth society cooperation of various levels and sectors at state, division and district, along with youth participation from institutions of higher learning (public and private institutions, rural and urban youth, young professionals in the private and public sectors).

JB Youth Fest 2011 is specifically held to celebrate and create a more prudent youth. In addition, JB Youth Fest 2011 is a platform for the youth in Johor to be more active in worthwhile activities that are rarely held in other states in the nation's capital. Thus, with such a program, youth in Johor Bahru will be more competitive and equal with youths from other states.

OBJECTIVES

To provide worthwhile activities that build personal, develop patriotism and awareness of the need to avoid the negative element and values among youth.

Strengthening the integration and unity among members and the community and to guide them to play a positive role in peace and development.

Changing the minds of youth to become more dynamic, proactive, creative and innovative in addressing the question of the problems in their daily lives.

Making JB Youth Fest an annual event in Johor Bahru to provide a platform for youth to display their talent and gain opportunities for personal enhancement.
