    The Connection

    Connecting Ministry Partners with the Mission


    Volume I, Issue 13 Lifelines Ministry of Cru will be changed to Cru Global. The new logo is pictured. The cross which replaced the shield represents taking Christ to the four corners of the world and Summer 2011 name with as much meaning and memories as the previous over the next 60 years of the ministry. As we talked about our name we were reminded of the name that really mattered: Jesus. Our name might seem like a big deal but we will continue to keep Christ at the center of our ministry. The name change will be progressive and will be official by January 2012. All donors and stakeholders will receive information about the logistics of the change in the next few months. Check out my blog for more updates on the summer.

    The Ministry Formerly Known As...


    This may be new to you or you may have known about it for a while but for the past two years Campus Crusade for Christ has been in the process of changing its name. As the culture has been changing weve noticed a growing negative response to the name and our leaders, after much prayer and discussion, decided it best to change the name to something less offensive to non-Christians and more inclusive to ministries outside of the campus realm. Just last night the new name was revealed. The ministry formerly known as Campus Crusade for Christ

    Prayer Requests:
    Pray for Cru as we transition from one name to another, that God would be glorified and the process would go smoothly. Pray for our staff team as we gather back together in August and plan for the fall semester.
