OVERVIEW
Additional Information: It is proposed that the course fee would remain same for up to twenty participants. As a value proposition CTO may invite participants from other countries for the same course. The course conduction at our training centre adds further exposure to the participants of the extensive lab facilities and field formations available with BSNL. Board and Lodge to the participants will be available at a rate of 200 GBP per participant per week in addition to the course fee as mentioned above at Part 2.

FACULTY
S. N., Gupta Mr. S.N. Gupta is an Engineering graduate in Electronics and Communication from National Institute of Technology, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India and he completed his post graduation in computer science and technology from IIT, Roorkee, India. He was selected in Indian Telecom Services through UPSC (union Public Service Commission) through an all India examination in the year 1992. He has about 16 years of experience in telecom industry. He was deeply involved in switching equipment installations and commissioning of mainly EWSD and OCB 283 switching technology in the BSNL network. He has also installed Intelligent Network node at Jaipur. He has undergone training on OCB 283 switching equipment, IN, GSM, WLL etc telecom technologies. He has an experience of planning, operation and maintenance of telecom services in City areas. Mr. S.N. Gupta is presently working as Deputy General Manager in BSNL at ALTTC (Advanced Level Telecom Training Centre), an apex and world class training centre of BSNL and is engaged in the training activities of BSNL since last 6 years. He is heading NGN faculty and has contributed in developing and designing of training modules on NGN, IP TAX, NGN protocols, 5ESS switching system etc. Subsequently training has been provided on these modules to the officers of BSNL as well as to the private organisations. He has been trained in NGN & IPTAX at ZTE University, Shenzhen, China. He was involved in the validation of the first IP TAX installed in BSNL at New Delhi. He has also participated in the ITU workshop on NGN Migration Strategies held at Shiraz, Iran on 11 14 October 2010. Sanjay, Kumar Mr Sanjay Kumar, an officer of Indian Telecommunication Service of 1989 Batch, Department of Telecommunication, Government of India . He specialised in Switching stream from ALTTC, Ghaziabad, India in the year 1990 1991. He has wide experience of Telecom Network Planning, Installation & Commissioning, of TDM PSTN Switches both Class 4&5, OFC Transmission Network using PDH/SDH and DWDM systems, Managed Leased Line Network, GSM , both 2G & 3G using Packet Core Network, WiMAX 802.16e based system and 2000 1x CDMA Network with EV DO Rev A. He started his career in Switching Installation from 1993 to 1996 at Mumbai India and commissioned various switches of Alcatel OCB 283 switches, Siemens EWSD, Fujitsu Ftex 150L switches. In the same period he has undergone 12 weeks I, O&M training at M/s Fujitsu, Japan for Fetex 150L Switch. He has worked thereon at Ranchi, India on various capacities as Divisional Head from 1996 to 2003. He has installed and commissioned various Class 4 & Class 5 Switches and launched Pilot GSM Service in Ranchi city of India. He has worked as DGM(Planning) in Jharkhand Telecom Circle of eastern India from 2003 2008 and was involved in the planning of state wide Transmission Network , Switching Network , Data Network using MLLN equipments and CDMA 2000 1x ZTE network and Broadband Multiplay Network, NGN network & WiMAX network planning in Jharkhand India. In addition, he carried out procurement of telecom equipments. In the year 2006, he has undergone one week training at USTTI, Washington and Cisco, San Jose, USA on Internet Security. In addition, he has been trained on VOIP, NGN, WiMAX, NG Transport Systems. He has worked as Deputy General Manager (Mobile) from 2008 onwards till date and has been directly involved in the planning and the roll out of 2.5G , 3G GSM network, expansion of CDMA based EVDO network and WiMAX network planning and its roll out in Jharkhand Circle. He is also involved in the E Governance project of Jharkhand State, India from BSNL side. He is regular guest faculty as Telecom Expert at Indian Institute of Coal Management, Ranchi India and at ARTTC, Ranchi. Presently he is involved in the 3G & WiMAX network roll out in Jharkhand state of eastern India.
