    Faith in Action FCC took on a garage project for a needy Mishawaka city resident as part of the SOS (Summer of Service) ministry toward the end of summer. Kevin Quantz and Brian Laskowski were the key laborers, bringing skill, time and even materials to the project. Connie Runnels also donated her services by beautifying the flower beds. We even received a letter of appreciation from the major. Although each of these individuals are kind of quiet, their actions spoke loudly about Gods love and the local churches commitment to their neighborhoods.

    FOOD FELLOWSHIP - We never go too long before we come up with an excuse to eat together

    MASTER GRILLERS - Some like to eat and some like to cook (and some like to do both a the same time)

    LOOKED LIKE FUN - I guess you would have to ask one of the kids, but this bouncy thing sure looked like fun

    Connecting
    God has been good and there are many newer members of our local church fellowship. We are trying to help people connect as friends through several means. (1) We intentionally plan a half time break during Sunday morning worship so that you can at least have a brief chat with each other, maybe exchange cell numbers. (2) There are luncheons every Tuesday where men and women visit over food - this is not simply for the older crowd, btw. (3) Every Wednesday we have groups meeting for youth (Jr/ Sr), children, women, and a mixed group of adults of various ages. This is a more casual atmosphere with time to catch up, pray, and talk in the hallway. (4) Our hope is
