– Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, UTM – 1,147 (5.7%)
– Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, UKM – 971 (4.8%)

• To determine what are the causes of unemployed
graduates
• To find out the solutions for the problem

• causes of high unemployment rate of fresh graduates
among UiTM students
• solutions that can be used to overcome it
• current job markets’ demands and employer requirements
on employees
• qualities that the graduates must possess before entering
the working field
• skills and abilities needed in the job market in preparation
to create knowledgeable graduates

üMost of business graduates facing difficulties in finding a job

üDuration of job seeking process varies among graduates

üGraduates think that the subject during their study are relevant

üGraduates not fully utilize the Career and Counseling Unit

üGraduates still failed to get a job even had attended interviews

üMajority of graduates have gone a few interviews


CONCLUSION

ü Graduates do not posses the knowledge before attending


interviews

ü Graduates expecting to get higher starting salaries

ü Graduates do not prefer to be stationed elsewhere

ü Graduates do not prefer to work in shift

ü Graduates has never been subjected to any racially and


ethnically offensive remarks during interview
