Workflow and Oracle Applications Framework Ability to configure and interpret output Oracle Applications Manager, Oracle Enterprise Manager (including Grid Control), CRS tools, Statspack, RMAN and to develop own monitoring tools Contribute to the continuous improvement of the RDBMS environment to ensure the highest availability, DR, security and performance of RDBMS servers, Applications and related systems Contribute to enhance the technical capability of the team, share knowledge, and demonstrates a proactive approach to system maintenance. Provide out of hours support (on call) for Europe, 1 week in 4, 24X7 (on-call overnight and weekend call-out as required) Troubleshoot and resolve RDBMS and Application Server related problems across Europe Regularly undertake RDBMS, CPU and Applications technology and product patch updates Provide 3rd line support for application and other support teams e.g. backup, billing, database, interfaces, network, firewall, SFMS (fault management ), Oracle11i (11.5.10), Unix Build relationships to effect the support and transition of new environments through the development lifecycle through test into production Build and maintain UNIX/Windows based monitoring scripts Implement effective Capacity Management processes for reporting, trending, planning

Academic & Professional Qualifications o Educated to graduate level, preferably in a relevant IT, technical or engineering related area Oracle OCP or OCE certification on either 9i /10g/11g, 10g/11g RAC. o Fluent in English (written and spoken), second European language desirable Travel Requirements International travel may be required
