First Presbyterian Church (FPC) intends to restore 508 Park Avenue, the Robert Johnson Building, to usable, habitable space. FPCs need for office space will be adequately accommodated in the 23,000 SF of the 3-story Robert Johnson Building. FPC has received a Certificate of Demolition to remove the twostory structure at 1900 Young Street, and a Certificate of Appropriateness to transform the resulting open space into an outdoor venue for church performances, gatherings and social activities. This submission reflects adjustments to the approved site plan and building elevations. 1905 Canton Street, now vacant and enclosed by a chain link fence, will receive new perimeter trees and a new fence to match the existing fence at the adjacent Masonic Temple.
