Discussion Love earth no polystyrene is the campaign that involve student in College Harun Aminurrashid and owner of cafeteria.

We get this idea to carry out this campaign because we are very sensitive about our health and our earth. We realize that many people now not are very sensitive about the environment. We can saw the polystyrene also can increase the number of rubbish in the college. As we know that polystyrene is the non- biodegradable garbage. So , we have collaborate with the administration of Harun Aminurrashid (KHAR) College and the owner of cafeteria to enhance the effectiveness of this campaign. Students who are participating in this activity need to bring their own food container to the cafeteria or restaurant to pack the food that they buy instead of using polystyrene. During the first day of campaign on Sunday, we start our campaign activity on 11.00 am at cafeteria. We gave first 200 students that come to bought food with free food container. This is the one way to attract the students about the campaign. This way to enhance them by preventing them from using the polystyrene. We also placed the banner at several angles at KHAR compound.. The banner show about the theme and information of our campaign. This banner also act as media to give them an information about our campaign. Beside that, we also distribute the flyers to the students a day before the campaign started. We distribute the flyers to KHAR, KUO, and Taman Bahtera students. The flyers consist information about our campaign and also the bad effects about using the polystyrene. So, we think that these flyers also can help us to distribute the information and attract students to support our campaign. During spread the flyers to the students, there are many reaction that we get from the students. Some person say that this campaign is very good to be carry out. This is because there are some places had practice this style such as at shopping centre that have no plastic on Saturday. And there are several person only ignore this campaign. We have no power to force them to prevent from using the polystyrene but we just can tell them about the negative effect of using the polystyrene.
