Amongst the ancient rocks at Stoer stands the site of perhaps Europes largest known meteorite strike. Learn about the ancient landscape one billion years ago. Meet at Stoer Cemetary car park. Grid ref: NC 041283. Grade B/C. Prices: Adults 3, concessions 2, family rates available.

Thursday July 19th 1.30-3pm Adventure, Clachtoll

Rockpool

We have some of the best rockpools in the British Isles. Join us as we meet some of the weird wildlife living here. Meet at Clachtoll Beach Car Park. Grid ref: NC 040273. Children 2, accompanying adults free.

Thursday July 26th Mor Mountain Walk

10am - 6pm

Climb to the top of this magnificent mountain with super views and some rare and interesting plants. (849m). An alternative route will be made if the weather is poor. Meet at the small lay-by north of Knockan. Grid ref: NC 189094. Grade D. Prices: Adults 10, concessions 5
The Rangers reserve the right to cancel any of these events. Walk Grades: A easiest, D most challenging, including very rough ground and sometimes steep climbs. Sorry watching wildlife is not usually compatible with dogs.
