SYRINGE

 Definition
- A device used in medicine to inject fluid into or withdraw fluid from the body.
- A device consisting of a narrow tube fitted at one end with a rubber bulb or piston
by means of which a liquid can be drawn in and then ejected in a stream: used to
inject fluids into, or extract fluids from, body cavities, to cleanse wounds, etc.

STETHOSCOPE

 Definition
- is an acoustic medical device for auscultation, or
listening to the internal sounds of an animal body. It is most often
used to listen to heart sounds and breathing. It is also used to
listen to intestines and blood flow in arteries and veins.
- a medical instrument for detecting sounds produced in
the body that are conveyed to the ears of the listener through
rubber tubing connected with a piece placed upon the area to be
examined.
- is an instrument used for auscultation, or listening to
sounds produced by the body. It is used primarily to listen to the
lungs, heart, and intestinal tract. It is also used to listen to blood
flow in peripheral vessels and the heart sounds of developing
fetuses in pregnant women.

SPHYGMOMANOMETER

 Definition
- An instrument for measuring blood pressure in the arteries, especially one
consisting of a pressure gauge and a rubber cuff that wraps around the upper
arm and inflates to constrict the arteries.
- An instrument for measuring arterial blood pressure, consisting of an
inflatable band wrapped around the upper arm to compress the artery, and an
attached manometer.
