GRADES:In my classes, your goal should not be to gain an A simply to have an A. Your goal should be to strive for mastery of the content being taught to you. You can put as much effort as you like into this class in order to refine and ultimately master the skills. I will provide you with knowledge, and activities in order to help you work at developing and refining the skills. This isnt a class that will grade you on every activity and practice that we do. It is not points based. It is a class that provides you with the knowledge and skills to develop, refine and ultimately master the content which isnt based on objective evidence. ATTENDANCE POLICY: You need to be here as much as possible. There is a lot of information/discussion that you will miss out on that could potentially put you into the developing category which will then require extra time and tutoring. When you are gone, you may be asked to stay after school to watch a clip/film, or attend working lunch to complete an activity that was done in class. The classroom instruction cannot be replicated so it is your best interest to try and be in class.
