Learning Objectives

At the end of this course, you will be able to: Explain how regulation of pharmacy technicians is beneficial to pharmacy practice, the health care system as well as optimal patient care; Summarize national and provincial initiatives related to pharmacy technician regulation; Demonstrate how pharmacy technicians can play a vital role in patient care with particular emphasis on the patient with diabetes.
