To work at OISC Level 1 and AQS General Help Level 18 hours a week Salary: NJC scale 6 point 26/28 plus OLA pro rata (22 221 / 23 708 plus 1755 pro rata) (11 428 / 12 193 plus 903) RMNS has a small office in Carshalton for one-to-one work with clients and runs a weekly Drop-in session in a church hall in central Sutton for less confidential advice, English classes, welfare work and social activities. There is one part-time paid advice worker and two volunteer advice workers currently undergoing training. There is also a good number of experienced volunteers. The advice worker will support and assist refugees, migrants and asylum seekers, giving advice on immigration, welfare benefits, housing and education, and will liaise with statutory and voluntary bodies.
