the hypocrites pointing fingers with three fingers pointing right back.. if youre an avid ashlee simpson fan, youd know this line from her song bittersweet world but if not, i hope you get what those quoted lyrics mean. it means that we should not look down on other peoples flaws because we too have our own. hypocrisy is being discussed in our Church this month and today, which is friday by the way (because here in the middle east fridays our sunday. oh wait, its 12am :O its saturday already!), so yesterday, our message is entitled Love for the Lowest, which is based on Luke 5:27-32; 18:9-14; 19:1-10. in this text, we see how the Lord reached out to forgive sinners and warned us not to exalt ourselves like the pharisees. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted. (Luke 18:14) i have to admit that there were a few times when i was leavened by the yeast of pharisaism, times when i think im so good, times when i look for someone to blame, and times when i dont approve of relationships with ghosts when im in love with a vampire.. okay, that was elena gilbert :)) but seriously, we have to watch out for we might become boastful, unforgiving hypocrites. all of us are sinners but because of the salvation that God has given us, were forgiven. we just have to believe and trust in God, follow Him, be humble, and rejoice.. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost. (Luke 19:10)
