A DAY WTHOUT MISERY (SEKOLAH MENENGAH SAINS BANTING)

The purpose of this paper is to discuss and further study on how schools can be the place for nurturing people about world peace. Basically, one of the easiest ways to promote world peace is in schools .Thus, going to school helps them to unite. School can act as a medium to unite different cultures throughout the country which leads to cross culture. So, how to promote world peace in our school is by organizing A Day without Misery program. The program is held on the first Saturday of the month and it offers many interesting and entertaining activities, such as, movies screening, games, performances, talks and charity sales. In addition, the activities are held to strengthen the relationship among students under the theme peace. Then, to make the world peace begins in school is to do an annual programme which is The Peace Carnival. The peace zone is held once a year as a fund-rising activity. Furthermore, the fees, and the profits from the charity sales, the movies screening and etcetera that were collected during the activities are donated to the needy. So, these activities can support the idea of the world peace begins in school. These activities will also strengthen the ties of brotherhood between the sport houses, which leads to a better spirits of one nation and world in peace.
