Here are four keys to studying your Bible.

Want
Desire

Resources

-Philippians 3:17; 2 Timothy 2:2

Suggested Resources
-Psalm 119: 16, 97, 140

Every Christian should have a desire to read and study Gods Word. Gods Word is our guide to our walk and relationship with Christ. If we do not want a relationship with Christ and a knowledge of His Word we will not study the Bible.

Dedication
We fail in our duty to study God's Word not so much because it is difcult to understand, not so much because it is dull and boring, but because it is work. Our problem is not a lack of intelligence or a lack of passion. Our problem is that we are lazy. R.C. Sproul

Development

-James 1:22-25

As we study the Word of God, We should begin to be more Christ like. We do not study the Word of God for head knowledge. We study the Word of God for heart change. The Bible is a book that has been read more and examined less than any book that ever existed. --Thomas Paine
