Recently, suppliers in the automobile industry are involved in design as well as manufacturing, and this may be up to 70% of manufacturing and 50% of engineering costs at some auto companies. This paper is proposing a green integrated supply chain management (GISCM) framework that has cooperation, collaboration, information sharing, trust, partnerships and shared technology. The greening of such integrated supply chain can be enhanced by creating learning projects that demands that industrial partners (suppliers) eco-innovate both their manufacturing processes and products. Such GISCM also include engagement throughout the lifecycle of the product (after sales service, spare parts and recycling).
