    What is a team ?
    Its a group of people organised to work interdependently and cooperatively to meet the needs of their customers by accomplishing a purpose and goals. Teams are created for both long term and short term interaction. Long term teams include product development team, an executive leadership team, and a departmental team. Short term teams might include a team to develop an employee on boarding process, a team to plan the annual company party, or a team to respond to a specific customer problem or complaint.

    Functional teams

    Cross functional teams

    Self directed teams

    Why do we need teams ?


    To provide a framework for the working of the organisation. Tasks are accomplished at a faster pace when it is done by a team rather than an individual. Teams create SYNERGY, where the combined effect of the team is greater than the sum of individual efforts. Team optimizes the employee's talents and resources through

    Organisation working nowadays is project based which requires a team, instead of a single individual. Team building facilitates healthy competition among the employees through which they are motivated to work. Work never suffers or takes a backseat in a team.
