Discussion: The graph is not as straight as it was expected to be. When observed, there exist this error due to the problem in taking measurements of the meter, where the equipment in the lab is not as reliable as expected, there were some complications while taking readings. And the slope for this experiment cannot be found. If there was a slope that can be calculated the uncertainty that produces deviation in the result is the improper insulation of the heat bar, thus heat is transfer to the surrounding. The soldered wires in the extension, much or less will affect the reading of thermocouple , this is due to the element that had been used, that is the tin /lead, where these are a good conductor for head transfer, although it transfer heat to thermocouple it also can transfer heat from environment, due to this, it will affect the reading. Conclusion: As a conclusion, a thermocouple is a device that is made of two different contacting metal, which will supply a thermal emf when there is temperature difference at their junctions and obtained reading.
