OVERVIEW

Did you know that more than 9 million Canadians are currently living with diabetes or prediabetes1? Even more staggering are the figures from the World Health Organization (WHO). This number is expected to hit 438 million by 2030.1 As pharmacy technicians, working in the health sector will bring you into contact with many people who have diabetes. This program has been developed to help you broaden your knowledge about diabetes and how it affects the people who are diagnosed with it.

ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

This program includes seven courses that cover many aspects of diabetes. Each course has a pre-assessment quiz that reviews what you know about the topic before you start the course. In order to qualify for the CEUs for this course, you will need to achieve a score of 70% or higher on the Quiz. You will have two opportunities to achieve this score.

THE TOPICS COVERED IN COURSE 4 INCLUDE:
