5S is a simple but innovative approach in promoting a clean, safe and orderly environment that is conducive to learning as well as productive work activities. It consists of basic action points as represented by five words beginning with letter S. Originally consisting of five Japanese Words, 5S has been translated in English so that everybody can fully appreciate the meaning of the concept, and use it as guide in taking action to sustain a spic-and-span work learning environment.
