Allah Rakha Rahman (born 6 January 1966 as A. S. Dileep Kumar) is an Indian composer, singer-songwriter, music producer, musician, multiinstrumentalist and philanthropist. Described as the world's most prominent and prolific film composer by Time, his works are notable for integrating Eastern classical music with electronic music sounds, world music genres and traditional orchestral arrangements. He has won two Academy Awards, two Grammy Awards, a BAFTA Award, a Golden Globe, four National Film Awards, fifteen Filmfare Awardsand thirteen Filmfare Awards South in addition to numerous other awards and nominations.

A.R.Rahman has done a lot of work he has directed music in a number of Bollywood movies such as Rockstar 2011 and slumdog millionaire. Not only has he directed films but has made many albums such as maa tija salam this was a very popular album for India.
