Rollomatic spotlights new laser measuring technology at IMTS 2012

Mundelein, May 2012. Rollomatic, a leading machine tool manufacturer based in Le Landeron, Switzerland, is exhibiting at the IMTS (International Manufacturing Technology Show) in September in Chicago, IL. Rollomatic continues the success of the multi-axis CNC tool grinding machines by introducing a laser measuring device for measuring rotary cutting tools. The strategy with this new device is to offer a reliable and highly accurate measuring technology for variable and progressive helix cutting tools such as high performance endmills. Equally suited, this measuring device will gauge the diameter and roundness of precision pins, cutting tools blanks and other rotary components.
