Its a part of an Educational trust named Bariar Education Trust. The Trust is Headed by Mr. Manish Bariar, an eminent educationist who did his MBA from IIFT, New Delhi. DUC is an initiative of a group of highly qualified professionals from Industry. The programs offered are structured in a truly International model.

Programs Offered
DUC has started with the following 3 programs namely: B.B.A - 3 Year Full Time Regular Program spread over 6 Semesters having 6 subject in each semester. B.C.A - 3 Year Full Time Regular Program spread over 6 Semesters having 6 subject in each semester.

B.Com(Pro)- Year Full Time Regular Program spread over 6 Semesters having 4 subject in each semester.

Affiliation
DUC is affiliated to Gulbarga University. The University is situated in Karnataka and is a State Government University. The affiliation is for Full Time Regular Degree Program. DUC is NOT a study centre but an affiliated college.
