Democracy is a white man's lie Three classrooms of the village's only school, were collapsed, because of a heavy rainy

day, at the end of 2004. All attempts of rebuilding them, were failed, the schooling year, was spent in stalls- classrooms. Nafeer was made by the village's youth, for building the classrooms, and two teachers' offices. On the final day of the nafeer, the youth were engaged in a lively discussion, and debate, many of the current issues. In fact the village's society, became familiar with terms like, hi, e-mail, facebook, gender, miscall and so on, even the illiterate began circulating such words. The issue of nurturing, and raising up, children at this time, of the greater

changes, and big challenges, was one of the most difficult issues they face. 'Embracing change, and holding on, to traditions, can go hand on hand. We can either accept the changes, as they come, or we can modify them, of course, we can also initiate changes ourselves. Whatever we do, changes will take place' such were Mawlana Rasheed remarks to his audience. While they were

debating, Suddenly Al.leem telephone rang. He stood up, and looked carefully to recognize who was calling, at the time he went on answering, his mobile, went off. 'Missed call, my friend' reacted Farah Al.Habib. Turning towards Al.leem, 'What is your, phone number?' asked Al.Hira. Occupied with the phone, 'Have you a pen'. 'I have, a good memory'. 'Zero (pronounced it correctly)' seriously began he. The presence astonishingly laughed. Fadal.Bari, laughed for a longer time, than the others, shown his reaction cheerfully 'Bravo, British accent. Really ( addressed Al.leem), you had a good pronunciation, better than, that of the English teacher, at the school' paused then added, 'Who actually doesn't know the ABCs of teaching, let alone the teaching of English language' cynically said he.

'Brother Fadal.Bari, the issue of teaching English in the country, has really turned to a big Problem' said Mukhtar. 'As an English teacher, and with my little experience of teaching here, in the village and, some others neighbouring villages schools, I have come to the conclusion, that what is running on, in these schools, is a real educational problem. Most of the teachers, aren't in the position of teaching the language; they are very weak, untrained, and the worst. They are lacking the basic elements of teaching' concluded Fadal.Bari. Waved his right hand, Al.Hira mimed to Al.leem goes on with the rest of his mobile phone numbers. For he thought that Fadal.Bari, has a lot, to say, while they have no time. 'You're alright' reacted Al.leem. '0911176395, this is my phone number' said he. Wad.Mahyoba, held a mobile drew near, and proudly, said Al.leem. 'Make me escall' demanded he. 'You said what?' gurgled he. 'I said make me escall.' Murmured Wad.Mahyoba. 'Dont say escall, ya zuul ' laughed he. Fadal.Bari, put his hand, on his ears, made a gesture and mime, for the presence to listen. Faced Al.leem and said :'Then he ought to what?'. 'Missed call, not escall' responded he. 'Am I said to you, Al.leem is better than, the village's school English teacher' shouted Fadal.Bari. Admired Al.leem way of speech, Mukhtar said 'Brother, you're a strange person. How do demanded he. 'If you want to know a thing, give it your time, and makes it the focus' seriously replied he. you come, to utter the word, in such correct way?'

'And if f you went on, with your education, and

Al.Hira cut him short, 'Made you a miss call, isn't it?' cynically said he. And added in more reproached tone, ' What sort of a man you're!' said Al.Hira. 'What '' angrily said Fadal.Bari 'It isn't nice, miss calling people, all the time!' pleaded Al.leem.

Rizq the dervish, Magadm Deng, and Farah, fall in deep silence, being told a bout this time, in which a person, at his own place, can talk to the one, he wants, whenever, and wherever, he was. Azadeh, had increased their amazement, by saying that a person now, in America, and in the world around, while sitting at his own place, could speak, as well see the person that he speaks to, through the Skype, and also a person could send a message, to whom he wants, and at a fraction of a second. Farah Al.Habib, addressed Magadam Deng, who sat by him 'What a time! And what a world that we live in?' asked Farah. 'This is the end of the time, O men I witness, to the oneness of God' replied Deng. 'These are just part ,of Gods signs, and wonders' responded Rasheed, and then went on to recite. (We will show them Our Signs in the universe and in their own selves, until it becomes manifest to them that this (the Quran) is the truth) the Quran says. inhumane, and against all values and ethics, I will never ever forget, that disgusting scene of Abu.Ghuraib' reacted Azadeh. 'Abu.Ghuraib!' repeated Al.leem. 'Yes, Abu.Ghuraib' 'The jailers had humiliated the prisoners, by putting womens underwear on theirs faces' said Mukhtar bitterly.. 'It happened, I assure you it happened, and the whole world, had seen that humiliating, and disgusting scene' responded Azadeh. Mukhtar gazed to the presence faces, and in a bitterest language, began: 'Democracy' 'White man's lie' 'Human rights' 'White man's lie' 'Good governing' 'White man's lie' 'Weapons of mass destruction' 'One of the biggest white man's lie'
