Time is running out to get involved and make a difference.

The Portland Timbers, along with Alaska Airlines, Horizon Air, the City of Portland and other close supporters, have joined together to organize Stand Together Week, October 814, 2012. There will be 30+ volunteer projects underway at various nonprofit organizations throughout the city with the overall focus benefiting youth and the environment. Alaska and Horizon have selected 4 service projects and need over 75 employees (and family) to participate. In total, Stand Together Week will engage 1,000 supporters- including Timbers players, coaches and ambassadors standing together to make a difference.

Location: Hillsboro 20 volunteer slots / Minimum age: 14+

Big Brothers Big Sisters October 11, 5:30pm 8:00pm

Location: NE Portland 15 volunteer slots / Minimum age: 18+

Portland Police Sunshine Division October 11, 2:00pm 4:00pm


Location: NE Portland 20 volunteer slots / Minimum age: 16+

Oregon Food Bank (6-15 may volunteer with an adult) October 12, 1:30pm 3:30pm
Location: NE Portland 25 volunteer slots / Minimum age: 16+

Volunteers who work at one of these service projects will have an opportunity to meet Timbers Players, receive a T-shirt and have their name entered in a drawing to win tickets to: Timbers, Blazers, Broadway Across America and the Northwest Wine & Food Festival.
