Dear 9th-Grade Confirmation Candidates & Families, We are happy to inform you that we received notification from Most Reverend Dominic A. Marconi that he will be coming on Saturday, May 11, 2013, for Confirmation. Details of the two Masses that will take place that day are shown below: For Candidates with last names beginning with A L: Time of Mass: 10:00 a.m. (Candidates and sponsors need to arrive by 9:30 a.m.) Practice: Friday, May 10, 2013, from 5:00 to 6:15 p.m. in Parish Hall. (Candidates are required to attend the practice with their sponsors. If the sponsor is unable to attend, an adult family member must accompany the candidate.) For Candidates with last names beginning with M Z: Time of Mass: 2:00 p.m. (Candidates and sponsors need to arrive by 1:30 p.m.) Practice: Friday, May 10, 2013, from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. in Parish Hall. (Candidates are required to attend the practice with their sponsors. If the sponsor is unable to attend, an adult family member must accompany the candidate.) If you will be scheduling a family gathering following the Confirmation, please note that the Mass usually takes about 90 minutes. There will be a reception in the gym after each of the Masses with an opportunity to take pictures with the Bishop. If you stay for that, that could add an additional 30 minutes or so.
