Dear 9th-Grade Confirmation Candidates and Families, This is a reminder regarding the first gathering of Confirmation candidates on Saturday, September 22. Candidates should arrive in the gym for check-in at 4 p.m. to prepare for the Covenant Ceremony, which will take place at the 5 p.m. parish Mass. Pizza dinner will be served to the candidates in the gym immediately after Mass, and the Confirmation program will follow dinner. Our evening together will conclude at 7:30 p.m. in the gym. We would also like to remind everyone that attendance at the Confirmation gatherings is required and each candidate is expected to arrive at 4 p.m., attend the 5 p.m. parish Mass (which fulfills the Sunday obligation), and remain until the conclusion at 7:30 p.m. No part of the evening is optional. For your convenience, we have listed the gathering dates below for the year (*please note the changes in the March and April dates): September 22, 2012 December 8, 2012 January 5, 2013 March 9, 2013 April 20, 2013 Covenant Ceremony, 4:00 - 7:30 p.m. Advent Gathering, 4:00 - 7:30 p.m. Christmas Gathering, 4:00 - 7:30 p.m. Lenten Gathering, 4:00 - 7:30 p.m.* Confirmation Retreat, 9:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.*

Enclosed is a red Confirmation Hand-ins sheet for your review. Please submit any remaining items by the deadline of September 8. If you have any questions or need more information, please call or email our office. Also enclosed is a revised Family Service Schedule with the new March and April gathering dates.
