PREFACE
Automation has been the major goal of the modern world. Man has always tried to make things such that his work becomes more fast and efficient. Computer has been great achievements towards this goal.Computer have contributed a lot in automation. The way these machines have manifested in our lives is nothing less than the effect that the discovery of fire or invention of wheel had on the evaluation of mankind. These essence being, computers can no longer be termed as a mere invention-they are a evolution. A revolution that is changing the way we work, travel, study, do business or entertain ourselves. In short, the way we live is an evidence of this revolution. This project is one step towards the automation of the billing system of URC. The main objectives of this system are to provide efficient and valuable services to their valuable and esteemed customers. We hope this project succeeds in achieving this foremost goal of the Canteen.
