MVP: Jamaal Charles 37.80 (123) Nice trade by Uncle Bens Rice. Charles was considered by many to be the most explosive running back in football a year ago before his injury, and it looks like hes still got it. Honorable Mentions: Maurice Jones-Drew 26.30 (DariusFrosteeRucker), AJ Green 29.90 (Jay Mariotti), Andre Brown 26.50 (Factory of Sadness), Torrey Smith 27.70 (Darren Sharpa), Ben Roethlisberger 32.16 (Factory of Sadness)
MVP Standings:
123 2 Factory of Sadness 1
Best Start of the Week: Andre Brown 26.50 (Factory of Sadness) Nice pickup off the waivers by Chox. Choxs squad looks pretty solid. Could this be the year his team finishes above .500?
Worst Start of the Week: Ben Tate 0.60 (Barry Sanders) Not really a bad start considering that Tate is a really good player who usually gets a decent workload as a backup. However, its not good when your starting running back gets less than a point.
Game of the Week: Jay Mariotti 116.14 vs. Dumbledores Army 113.52 The curse of Julio Jones! After Will was devastated by Tims early drafting of Julio he predicted that Tim would be this years Chox and start off the season 0-6. Half way there.
Beat Down of the Week: Factory of Sadness 138.60 vs. Keith Stone 91.38 A textbook beatdown. No one on Choxs team scored less than 8 points & multiple people had 20+.
Highlight of the Week: Nobody, and I mean nobody has as much swag as Steve Smith. The guy is 33 years old and still playing like hes in his mid 20s. Hes also consistently put up great numbers with horrible quarterbacks over the years. Oh, and hes 59. Heres a classic clip of Smitty where he explains the rules & regulations of the game
