The Office of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Syria, in cooperation with the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic is seeking to recruit a highly-qualified Occupational Safety & Health Training Officer within the framework of project Strengthening Capacity Development

for Disaster Risk Management in Syria Basic required qualifications:


a) Education: Bachelor degree in engineering, naval studies, occupational safety, business administration or any related field. b) Experience: 7 years of relevant experience at the national and international level in disaster management system. Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.). c) Experience in marine port operations is desirable. d) Experience in safety in oil operation and emergency response is desirable. e) Language Requirements: Fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic. f) Other Qualifications: Good communication and presentation skills.
