VACANCY

LOSS CONTROL OFFICER X2 (GRADE E)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the above
positions that have arisen in the Audit and Risk department, Delta Head Office.

The Job
Reporting to the Loss Control Manager, the successful applicants will be, among other key
challenging aspects, responsible for:

 Enforcing compliance with Delta Beverages SOPs using the Loss Control program and
making recommendations for improvement.
 Developing loss prevention and detection strategies and recommending for
implementation.
 Carrying out investigations timeously and compiling relevant evidence.
 Preparing a report for all work done, preserving evidence and exhibits.
 Supervising and monitoring security service providers, while ensuring adequate
deployments on sites.
 Maintaining a record on training of armed guards and firearm certificates for SHE and
NOSA Audits.
 Ensuring adherence to up to date security site instructions.
 Attending to accidents and major incidents involving stakeholders.
 Representing the company in courts.
 Arranging security for Delta Beverages events.

The Person
The ideal applicants should possess the following minimum qualifications and attributes: -

• Degree in Security/Risk, Accounting or Equivalent.


• At least 5 years’ experience in law enforcement or controls enforcement environment.
• Good analytical and writing skills.
• Clean class 4 driver’s licence.
• High level of confidentiality, honesty and integrity.
• Sound knowledge of handling criminal cases.
• Knowledge of SAP an added advantage.
• Computer literate.
