Role Transitions:

We operate out of more than 23 countries with each country having its own dynamics with respect to processes. This in a way makes it all the more complicated when we deal with various processes and this holds true for most of the support functions like Logistics, F&A and HR. So one of the other key mandates for the HR Organization was to evaluate and see how some of the Activities can be done from one location. This was conceptualized as a shared services model approach but with a specialist touch to the key sub processes. Expectation was to elevate the accuracy and give a better employee experience. We started with the Pilot run in July12 and I am pleased to share that it has successful. Key Transition has been HR Onboarding team taking over the Employee Joining and Exit Actions from F&A across all our locations. This has been made to ensure that there is a better traction and central source of updation The Transition so far has covered some of the key activities like the Reporting and Updations with respect to T&A, Leave Management etc, SAP actions involving entire Employee life cycle management etc which have moved to Chennai and has been effective since then. Next Quarter would have two other major geos going Live
