News and some reminders...

The library book exchange program continues in November. Your child will bring a French book home for a week. The book needs to be back for the following Wednesday. Pizza Lunch: We have a Pizza Lunch on Nov. 19th. Orders are due at the office on Tuesday, November 6th.

The assembly for Remembrance Day is on Friday November 9th in the morning. You are welcome to attend. Show and Tell is the week of November 19th to the 22nd.

What are we going to learn this month?

Language: - sounds: on / om, ch, / er/ ez/ ai/ et, an / en - adjectives (petit, petite, petits) - Complete sentence with adjectives (capital letter, subject, verb, adjective, period) Math: - continue addition and subtraction activities with concrete material (problem solving) - counting to200 by ones, 5's and 10's, 2's - 2D and 3D shapes (naming, recognizing and properties)

Sciences: Matter and Material: What is a solid? What is a liquid? We are going to experiment with different liquids (oil, soap, water...) and solids (sugar, flour, salt, rice...) to understand their properties and if they can change in contact of other liquids or solids. Chemistry 101 ;)
