Historian and Author
Daniel Mandell is a resident scholar at the American Antiquarian Society and a visiting scholar at Princeton Institute for Advanced Studies. He is an author of many books on Native New England Indians, including, King Philips War: Colonial Expansion, Native Resistance and the End of Indian Sovereignty (2010) and Tribe, Race and History: Native Americans in Southern New England 1780-1880 (2008), both from Johns Hopkins University Press.
