Our target audience is mainly aimed at the age of 15 and above who are likely to be in full time education and who understands the concepts of horror and who are mature the reason why we didnt choose a age younger than 15 is because they could be easily confused and not mature enough to watch a horror film like the one which we are producing. Both genders have been evenly addressed as they can understand the point of our production and interpret it also both genders can understand the emotions and understanding the theme. The socio economic group we are targeting are groups D and above because its for everyone who has a interest in horror and if we only picked one socio economic group we would not get many viewers. As a group we tried to aim to finish our video at the end of October but due to actors and props not being available we now aim to finish filming in the first two weeks of November and then start to edit straight away. Once we have finished editing we will publish the video online uploading it to facebook, twitter and youtube this will enable us to get feedback. We will also have a pre and post questionnaire on our blog to also gain feedback. We researched into many horror films researching its codes and conventions we also looked at what the differences between a horror and a thriller is from what we researched the genre horror was picked. were Exorcism, Saw, Paranormal Activity and The Pact. We examined the film The Pact as it was a film full of mystery we researched the codes and conventions and thought we would do a similar layout and what we need to include to make our production effective. As a group we have aimed to add a lot of What is the rationale behind this text: suspense and intense senses making the audience question themselves on what could happen and why it is happening, by doing this we have tried to make the video as realistic as we possibly can to make it interesting and believable and we can do this by editing which will enable this to happen making it more scary. What representations will be operating in your We have used stereotypical representations such as religion as the two girls who are our characters text: are both Christian and Christian people are more likely to believe in these super natural superstitions. We will get feedback from our questionnaires How will you test If the product is which will provide us with information knowing successful and how does meet your if our production has been successful or not or we expectations: could show our film to audience who is 15 and above which will provide us with feedback, we will use the feedback on both occasions to improve the areas which is not liked by the audience and try to make the video better. *Dark setting What generic codes and conventions will be *Ougi board game present: *Candles *Flickering lights *Make up *Field *Grass/Field Our slogan is its only a game Is there any hidden messages within the text: Recourse constraints that affect our Time management is an important factor as we need to meet the deadline and also the location production: needs to be reliable as we need the setting to film and without this we wont be able to film. We also need to be well equipped by having the right equipment for the filming days without the equipment it is hard to film. The actors we are using need to be reliable and money is also another factor so we can buy props with such as costumes, candles creating an atmosphere of realism.
