A Great Birthday Herald

A prayer to Jesus If it were my birthday, Id want everybody to celebrate it! Id want there to be parties, festivities, toasts, happiness, cheer, and merriment. Christmas is for celebrating Your birthday, Jesus, and Im guessing that what You want is something similar to that. I want to throw that kind of birthday party for You, because You are God and deserve all that I can give and more. In order to do this, I ask for You to fill me with Your Holy Spirit, so that I can be anything You want me to be for anyone. This Christmas season, I want to be a great Birthday Herald, so that I can get others inspired about celebrating Your birthday. If people can see You in me, then theyll want to know more about You, and once they find out, theyll never be the same again! So please help the fruits of the Spirit to blossom and to take over my thoughts, my heart, my words, and my actions. I want to be like an apple tree, full of rich, ripe, sweet, luscious apples! So that if someone were to pick an apple off of my tree, theyd get a taste of who You are. This is the kind of party that I want to host for You, Jesus, a party where You get all the attention!
