The Mbius strip allows us to speak of Labour. It is a continuous, single-sided surface, traversed by the time and space of production, impulsed by Desire. We understand the space of production as a total space. The forms of production have changed, Labour has leaked into all the spaces we inhabit. Nowadays information and ideas produce. When we buy a car, we dont just purchase it, we also acquire the advertised experience of enjoying it. We increment its value by driving it around the streets. The strip is lubricated by the ideas of flexibility and permanent availability for the labour system. We are productive in our leisure, we are productive when we consume and we are productive in our social relations. In the confusion of working time and intimacy, our life becomes precarious. Our work problems a re o u r p e r s o n a l p ro b l e m s . Fragmentation and the turning of everything into a product have reached the concepts of space, time, bodies and identities. Beyond complaining, this situation motivates us to generate spaces in which we, all the differents, can agree on where and when to work. And the possibility of of making and understanding ourselves without turning affection into a product. The Transparent Entity pretends to reveal the gaseous malaise which conditions us all. The Transparent Entity proposes a space for physical congress and direct dialogue.

La cinta de Moebius nos sirve para hablar de Trabajo. Es una cinta continua de una sola cara por la que corren los tiempos y los lugares de produccin impulsados por el Deseo. Entendemos el espacio de la produccin como espacio total. Las formas de produccin han cambiado, el Trabajo se expande a todos los lugares donde transcurre nuestra vida. Hoy en da la informacin y las ideas producen. Cuando adquirimos un coche no solo los compramos materialmente, conseguimos tambin la experiencia publicitada de su disfrute. Aumentamos su valor conducindolo por las calles de la ciudad. La cinta est lubricada por la idea de la flexibilidad y la disponibilidad permanente para el sistema de trabajo. Somos productivos en el ocio, somos productivos consumiendo y somos productivos en nuestras relaciones sociales. Al confundirse el tiempo de trabajo con nuestra intimidad, nuestra vida se precariza. Nuestros problemas laborales son nuestros problemas personales. La fragmentacin y la conversin de todo en producto han llegado al espacio, al tiempo, a los cuerpos y a las identidades. Esta situacin ms all del lamento nos provoca el impulso de generar espacios para acordar entre todos los diferentes, cmo y cundo trabajar. Y la posibilidad de construirnos y entendernos sin convertir el afecto en producto. El Ente Transparente quiere mostrar el malestar gaseoso que a todos nos condiciona. El Ente Transparente propone un lugar de encuentro fsico y dilogo directo.

C.A.S.I.T.A. is an artistic group, on this occasion Loreto Alonso, Eduardo Galvagni and Diego del Pozo Barriuso. The meaning of its initials are different according to its projects maintaining the acronym. Earning a Living: The Transparent Entity is a project which from 2006 proposes meetings, installations, audio-visual pieces, research and social dynamics. We are interested in thinking about the relationship between work, identity and subjectivity taking into account the changes in productive models and working conditions in the current system.

...And there were economists saying things that I found terrible, and they said them so calmly. // ...the thing is that we have all the time in the world or they have all of our time. // We all need moments of non working and laziness, if is not given to us, we take it even it is actively, that is to say, though we have to go to work, stop working // It is my hobby, work is my hobby, my hobby is working, I am happy working. // And this is the farce, of which multinationals have a supply now, of sick people like me, who look for personal accomplishment, you are capable of spending10 to12 hours in a company. // Actually, we rest in order to keep on working. // Most women live with the feeling of not being where they should be, when they work they feel they should be at home, with their children. // To live without working would be like buying without paying, so it doesnt exist. // In a way routine lets you live socially, and it also gives you sociallegitimacy, which those of us who do not work, or those who do not work do not find. // What will work be like? It is like what will the world be like in 20 years, if the world is horrible work will be horrible. //

C.A.S.I.T.A. es un colectivo artstico, en esta ocasin Loreto Alonso, Eduardo Galvagni y Diego del Pozo Barriuso. El significado de sus siglas varia segn sus proyectos manteniendo el acrnimo. Ganarse la vida: El Ente Transparente es un proyecto que desde 2006 propone encuentros, instalaciones, piezas audiovisuales investigaciones y dinmicas sociales. Nos interesa pensar las relaciones entre trabajo, identidad y subjetividad atendiendo a los cambios en los modelos productivos y las condiciones laborales en el sistema actual.

...Y salan economistas diciendo cosas que a m me parecen tremendas, y las decan con toda tranquilidad. // ...el tema es que tenemos todo el tiempo del mundo, o tienen todo nuestro tiempo. // todos necesitamos tener espacios de pereza y de no trabajo, y si no nos lo dan, nos lo tomamos aunque sea activamente, es decir, aunque tengamos que ir al trabajo, dejamos de trabajar // es mi hobby, el trabajo es el hobby mo, mi hobby es trabajar, soy feliz trabajando. // ... y sta es la farsa, de la que se surten las multinacionales ahora, de enfermos como yo, que buscando la realizacin personal, eres capaz de estar 10 y 12 horas en una empresa // Realmente, descansamos para seguir trabajando // La mayor parte de las mujeres viven con un sentimiento de no estar donde deben, es decir que cuando estn trabajando, sienten que tendran que estar con sus hijos // Para vivir sin trabajar, sera ir a comprar sin pagar, entonces no existe. // La rutina, de alguna manera, te deja vivir socialmente, y ademas te da una legitimidad social, que los que no trabajamos, o los que no trabajan no encuentran. // cmo ser lo laboral? es como ser el mundo en los prximos 20 aos, y si el mundo es horrible, lo laboral va a ser horrible.
