700 Rochester Volunteers to Help Feed Starving Children Areas first-ever mobile event to be held at Lakeshore Community Church
November 20, 2012More than 700 Rochester area community members will prepare 150,000 life-saving meals at the areas first ever Feed my Starving Children (FMSC) MobilePackTM event on December 7 from 7:15 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and December 8 from 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. at Lakeshore Community Church, 3651 Latta Road, Rochester NY. Through a partnership between Lakeshore Community Church and Twin Cities-based Feed My Starving Children (FMSC), volunteers at this mobile packing event will package enough food to feed thousands of starving children around the world in a matter of eight hours over two days. Although registration for the MobilePack is full, there is a waiting list should any openings become available. About Feed My Starving Children Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a non-profit Christian organization committed to feeding Gods starving children hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple: children and adults fill bags with four dry ingredients designed specifically for starving children, and FMSC ships the meals to nearly 70 countries around the world.
