Leila & Simon Meyer Scholarships (Engineering)

1 - $500 scholarship to be awarded to a graduating senior from Monroe High School


entering the field for engineering on a full time bases to pursue a career to become a
licensed engineer in the public, private, or educational sectors. The student must have
good mathematics, science, technical, and leadership skills and be involved in extra
curricular activities. The scholarship will be paid upon successful completion of the
first semester and proof of enrollment of the second semester. The family will make
their decision based on the recommendations of the scholarship committee.

engineering field, your goals, and a brief description of interests outside of school.
Explain where you see yourself, career wise, 10 years in the future. Explain a
project you have worked on as part of a class or club, which relates to engineering
and what knowledge was gained from the project. This essay is reflective of your
communication skills.
