Youre Invited!
Our school will have Meet the Teacher night next week. This year the whole school will be focusing on Childrens Engineering. This is a great chance to show your parents how Childrens Engineering can help you learn. We are going to do this by completing a card engineering activity which you can take home as a personal invitation for them to visit our school.

Design Challenge:
Design and make an invitation to give to your parent inviting them to Meet the Teacher night.

Criteria:
Your card must: have at least one pop up part. have a lever operated moving part. fit into a 10 inch by 12 inch envelope. have Youre Invited! written on the moving part. have the date and time inside. be attractive and use correct spelling throughout.

What can you use?

construction paper card stock paste scissors brads markers crayons colored pencils other materials that might be supplied by the teacher
