UHMC Institute of Hawaiian Music and UHMC Chorus


UHMC Chorus is a 26 member chorus and will be singing not only Christmas and Hawaiian favorites but also some of your favorite pop songs of today.

The Institute of Hawaiian Music at the University of Hawaii Maui College is a one-of-a-kind musical mentorship program that is dedicated to the perpetuation and preservation of Hawaiian music through establishing mentor relationships with professional Hawaiian musicians.

Featuring the students of UHMC's Institute of Hawaiian Music and UH Maui College Chorus conducted by Karyn Sarring. This promises to be a concert to remember. Relax under the moon and stars while enjoying live Hawaiian Music. Grass seating (bring a blanket or low-back beach chair), and coolers will be allowed if you wish to bring a snack. Soda and water will be available for sale. Local artists will be present to show and sell their art. $25.00 admission, Gates open at 5:00 p.m. Upon selling out of the moonlight concert, a matinee concert will be opened.
