Dearly Beloved friends of Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia, For the past two years we have celebrated this Blessed Day by participating in the Property Beautification Program, following the example of `Abdul-Baha and Beloved Shoghi Effendi of developing raw land into beautiful gardens, with peaceful trails, flowering bushes and trees. This year do come and bring your friends to see the fruits of your labor. Great progress has been made and you still have the opportunity to participate in the Beautification of the Property. We welcome DONATIONS of seedlings of trees and bushes as well as decorative annuals and perennials, and participation in planting. Please bring your equipment and gloves. You will have the opportunity to tour the property in the RIVER SHUTTLE, soak in the beauty of nature, observe the eagles near the Potomac River. Tea, coffee, drinks & cookies provided. Please bring your picnic basket and share with others.
