Life on the Adriatic

Oltremare is a large marine theme park dedicated to
showcasing life in the Adriatic Sea and the Po River Valley.
AldrichPears planned and designed all their outdoor
environments and two major indoor attractions. Experiences
include a long interpretive journey through many cultural
villages and natural zones. In the Planet Earth zone, visitors
witness the formation of the universe as they wander through
a large, multimedia environment, which features a compelling
3-D film and surprising 4-D physical effects that synchronize
with the film. In the Darwin exhibition, visitors explore a living
prehistoric landscape in a glass conservatory. In this portal to
the past, visitors encounter live crocodiles, volcanic eruptions
and other thrilling hazards along the way.
