Much or many

We use "many" with countable (A count noun is any noun that can be counted, for example, five cars, three children, four bottles):

I dont have many problems. I havent bought many apples.

You can also use "many" to replace the noun: If the identity of the noun is obvious we can be omitted and in its place the word "many" single.

-Does he have many books? -No, he doesnt have many.

We use "much" with uncountable nouns (An uncountable noun is any noun that can not be told, for example, oxygen. We can not say "two oxygens" for example.) They didnt eat much rice. I dont have much luck.

As "many", if the identity of the noun is obvious can be omitted:

-Do you have money?

-I dont have much.
