What is BPA?

BPA is an abbreviation for Biphenyl-A. BPA is an ‘ingredient’ used in the chemical compound that lines the
inside of food containers.

What can excessive amounts of BPA do to me?

BPA in water bottles can have very harmful effects, starting at a young age children who are over exposed
to BPA have a higher risk of prostate cancer, increased rates of breast cancer, type II diabetes, and obesity

• No. 3: Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC, vinyl)
• No. 4: Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE)

• No. 6: Polystyrene (PS)
• No. 7: Other: when package is made with a resin other than the six listed above, or is made of
more than one resin and used in a multi-layer combination

What can I use to substitute for these plastic bottles?
