What is a verb?
A verb is a word that describes an action a noun is doing or will do

Running

Jumping

Eating

Examples:

The boy is running The girl is jumping The girl is eating

Verbs can tell you what is happening

Verbs can tell you what is going to happen

Verbs can tell you what has happened

These are called Verb Tenses
